Dora Sigerson Shorter (1866 - 1918) was an Irish poet and sculptor born in Dublin, acclaimed for her dark poetry collection, The Fairy Changeling and Other Poems (1897), which includes verses about the eclipse and hallow eve, featured in our Halloween Stories.
