Edward Stratemeyer

Edward Stratemeyer (1862 - 1930) was an American publisher and prolific children's fiction author, best known for the popular book series: The Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, The Rover Boys, The Bobbsey Twins, and Tom Swift. He wrote over 1,300 books, using various pseudonyms including Victor Appleton and Arthur W. Winfield. Stratemeyer sold over 500 million copies of his popular juvenile novel series.
