The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath

The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath (1943, written 1927) is the longest and most ambitious of Lovecraft's Dream Cycle works. Randolph Carter embarks on an epic quest through the Dreamlands to find the marvelous sunset city that haunts his dreams, journeying through enchanted forests, across nightmare seas, and into the cold wastes of the outer void. "Three times Randolph Carter dreamed of the marvelous city, and three times was he snatched away."
