Man and Superman: A Comedy and a Philosophy (1902) is a Don Juan themed play, one of Shaw's most notable works, along with Pygmalion (1912) and Saint Joan (1923). It opened at the Royal Court Theatre in London in May, 1905, but omitted the controversial third act.
