The Wonderful Visit

The Wonderful Visit

The Wonderful Visit (1895) was a satirical treatment of Victorian England, with a fantastic (rather than a spiritual) angel. The book is considered contemporary fantasy; but like most things Wellsian, that was a genre before his time.
