New Hampshire
Robert Frost's fourth collection won the first of his four Pulitzer Prizes in 1924. Anchored by the long title poem, the collection also contains many of Frost's finest short lyrics, including "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening," "Nothing Gold Can Stay," and "Fire and Ice." The poems range from witty observations to profound meditations on mortality and the natural world.
