Daniel Webster (1782 - 1852) was a great lawyer and orator who served two terms in the U.S House of Representatives and two terms in the U.S. Senate representing New Hampshire and Massachusetts. He also served as Secretary of State under Presidents William Henry Harrison, John Tyler and Millard Fillmore.
